2. What Data We Process and Why

We only process personal data that you voluntarily provide when contacting us directly.

Email contact

When you contact us by email, we process:

  • your name (if provided),
  • your email address,
  • the content of your message.

The purpose is to respond to your enquiry and establish a potential business relationship. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or performance of a contract / pre-contractual steps (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

3. Retention Periods

We retain email correspondence for as long as necessary to respond to your enquiry, and up to 3 years after the end of any contractual relationship (for potential claims). Accounting and tax records are kept in accordance with statutory obligations (generally 10 years).

4. Who We Share Data With

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. For the operation of this website we use the following technical providers:

  • Vercel Inc. – website hosting (servers in EU/EEA or with appropriate safeguards),
  • Microsoft Corporation – email communication via Microsoft 365 / Exchange Online (data processing agreement included in Microsoft Online Services Terms).

All processors are bound by a data processing agreement and provide adequate data protection guarantees.

5. International Data Transfers

Where data is transferred outside the EEA (e.g. Vercel, Google), transfers are secured by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) approved by the European Commission or another appropriate mechanism.

6. Your Rights

As a data subject you have the right to:

  • access your personal data,
  • rectify inaccurate data,
  • erasure of your data (right to be forgotten),
  • restriction of processing,
  • data portability,
  • object to processing based on legitimate interest,
  • lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority – the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (www.uoou.cz).

7. Cookies

nextchange.cz uses only technically necessary cookies required for basic website functionality (e.g. language preference). These cookies do not require your consent.

The website does not currently use analytics, marketing or any tracking cookies. Should this change in the future, you will be informed via a cookie banner and this policy will be updated accordingly.

8. Security

The website is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Access to personal data is limited to the company's co-founders. We regularly review the security of our communications and data storage.
